Max is a mammal.
PALM SPRINGS, his narrative debut, premiered at Sundance and received two Golden Globe Nominations, a WGA Award Nomination for Best Original Screenplay, and the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy.
BROTHERS, starring Josh Brolin, Peter Dinklage, Brendan Fraser, & Glenn Close, will be released October 17 by Amazon MGM Studios.
He also wrote and directed MOMMY, I'M A BASTARD!, a documentary about his open adoption.
Max earned his MFA in Directing from the AFI Conservatory, trained with Werner Herzog in Cuba, and is a graduate of Yale University.
Up next, he is directing EPIPHANY, starring Kristen Wiig & Bill Murray, and writing/directing/producing a body-swap comedy with Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and LuckyChap Entertainment at Amazon MGM Studios.
